Voivodina Center for Human Rights in cooperation with the Center for Local Democracy from Subotica organises 6 round tables «Realisation of minority rights in local communities – Results of Alternarnative Reports on implementation of the Framework Convention and the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages» which were submitted to the Council of Europe in June and September 2007.

The main goal of round tables is to introduce representatives of municipalities’ and local communities, local ombudsmen, media, councils for interethnic relations and youth organization on alternative reports’ results.

The first round table was organized in Kanjiza in August at Municipality of Kanjiza premises, while the second one was held in Novi Becej in Municipality of Novi Becej. The third round table was held in Subotica in September and afterward it will be held in Kovacica, Pancevo and Ruski krstur.
